It is not compatible with round knob handles. Check your door before ordering — if you have a lever handle that angles downward when turned, this will work.

Yes. The adjustable steel base foot has been tested on hardwood, tile, marble, and low-to-medium pile carpet. On thicker carpet, extend the base foot slightly further for maximum grip. It will not work well on very thick shag carpet — a hard floor provides the most resistance.

The alarm module runs on 3x AAA batteries (included). In standby mode they last approximately 6 months. We recommend replacing batteries every 3–4 months if you use it nightly, or carry a spare set when traveling.
